Bathmate Hydromax 5: understanding a water-based penis pump
For someone familiar only with traditional air pumps, the Hydromax 5 works through a different process. It is an external water-based penis pump from Bathmate, built around the company's patent-protected hydropump technology. The clear chamber is filled with water, then pressure on the Bellows at the base expels part of that water through the valve. A partial vacuum forms around the penis, producing temporary blood inflow, expansion and erectile rigidity during the session. On the Hydromax 5, the Bellows rotates through 360 degrees and the chamber angle can be adjusted during operation.
